Global Orgasm is a performance where I challenge the world to give me an orgasm within a 2-hour time frame. The project uses a combination of sex toys, mobile technology, and social networking, with an audience of potentially millions, to evoke sexual climax.  Imagine, streamed on live-video, harnessed in variety of remotely controlled sex toys connected to a network of cell-phones applications, facebook application, tweeter stream, chat room and online tv,  I challenges the world to witness and give me an orgasm.

Here the performer’s body is the catalyst of a global desire while the social network functions as the vehicle of a sublime global experience. To succeed, all the network’s participants will need to coordinate their input. Based on the number of participants, how well participants work together, and with what accuracy they can control the toys the performer might or might not get an orgasm

Performing a long-distance global sexual act abstracts the body and technology equally, uncoupling action with the consequence of that action. This gap builds tension and desire between the person who is demanding satisfaction and the one trying to succeed in giving that satisfaction. The performance is streamed live on our website and through social media outlets. Participants will be able to chat among themselves, and break off into smaller chat areas. Participants will be able to control the sexual experience remotely by telephone and exciting sex toy technology (such as thee  iBuzz—iPod Controlled Vibrator). On the receiving end, the sex toys will be driven by mobile technology and integrated within a custom pink latex body suit.

Each sensitive area of the body corresponds to a phone number that participants can call to activate that toy for a ten second duration. All the phone numbers will be published on our web site(s) and available to all participants.  The performer will be giving vocal and visual feedback as to where she needs more or less stimulation, this will create a two way communication between my needs and the wants of the participants. After two hours, once the performance has ended, the experiment will be archived with the full and edited versions available online. A by product of the performance will be recognition and awareness of woman's sexuality and the ways she chooses to please herself. Male sexuality is overt and widely publicized in most cultures. For the fairer sex, we still have major hurdles to overcome to raise public awareness about our sexuality. And first, we have to understand it and feel open to talking about it ourselves in order to be advocates. This is goal of the Global Orgasm Network, to allow women a place to discuss their favorite parts of sex, achieving orgasm, and masturbation practices. And beyond discussion, we hope to build this into a sexuality toolkit complete with programmable sex toys, toys in which women can interface and program to follow certain routines. These routines can be published and shared, or kept private. Either way, each Network member will have her own profile to keep track of best practices. The aim is to create a self educating network of women able to foster an open and healthy discussion on self pleasure, sexuality, and collectively help foster ideas for remotely/non-remotely controlled sex toys tailored for a lady's personal pleasure.

Using existing technology ( one example is  http://jejoue.com/sasi/guided-tour )  we will develop social network applications and cell phone applications to be interfaced with existing sex toys. The application allows the user to explore devices and practices  for his/her own favorite masturbation routine.
This information can kept private, shared with selected partners or with your network of friends. To generate in-depth knowledge on best stimulation technique the system will provide bio-feedback including: body temperature, perspiration, heart beat, etc. Ideally, the Global Orgasm Network will help discover a highly knowledgeable expert users that will eventually take part in the performance.

The Final Performance will be a crowd-pleaser. Similar to the first performance, the event will streamed live on our site and social media outlets, but with more publicity and additional ways for audience participation. This Final Performance will be accompanied by biometric feedback displaying body temperature and heart rate alongside participant information such as number of participants, number of times each toy has been activated. All audience members can create a profile, and Global Orgasm Network participants can choose to display their Global Orgasm Network profiles.

The performer wears the ultimate-global-orgasm-harness which utilizes only the newest and best designed sex toys. Again, the intensity of each toy is determined by the participants. This time the interface with the performer will be more interactive and there will be a way to click on the performers body to initiate the sex toy. Visitors will be welcome to attend the event however, all stimulation happens outside the room. The experience is the antithesis of privacy. The event is streamed through a combination of channels including web, mobile, and public screenings, making my body the home of the ultimate abstract global experience
